Sammy O'Banion

is a member of The Carolina Beach Music Hall of Fame

and a member of The South Carolina R&B/Beach Music Hall of

Fame. He also is the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award

from the Beach Music Association International. Sammy has

performed the National Anthem for seven NFL games and has

had many hit beach music songs over the years. In addition to

being an accomplished songwriter, producer and performer,

he has also been written about for his music in at least 6 different

books. Sammy's self proclaimed biggest accomplishment is the

fact that above all else, he still enjoys singing as much as ever.

Tony has toured with some of the biggest stars in the

business, The Drifters, The Platters, and Rock and Roll Hall of

Fame member Percy Sledge. He was nominated for vocalist,

entertainer, and song of the year by the Beach Music Awards

Group of VA Beach. He has written Beach Classics like

Sunshine Girl Hammock Standing Up. He Sings, Plays,

Drives the Truck and does most of the laundry for the group.
